Muffins
Tonight I was a homemaker. I came home from work and got busy! I repotted some plants, propagated some plants, pruned, and watered. I did dishes and cleaned up the kitchen.
Then the best part, I made high fiber low cal muffins with my roomie. They came out super delicious! I am so excited to have one for breakfast tomorrow!
I have no idea what I am doing tomorrow but I do know that I want to get some chick peas and soak them so I can make hummus on Sunday. They have to soak for 12 hours, so I can't make them tomorrow.
I also want to go to a florist so I can get some fun flowers to brighten up the house. I miss having flowers in the house.
Maybe we will go for a hike as well...

FAT
It's hard staying skinny. I haven't really put back on any of the weight that I lost, but it is still kind of a struggle every day to eat healthy. During the week it's a little easier because I'm at work and I don't have a lot of freedom to go get bad food. I plan my food for the day starting at breakfast and it's easier to keep in line. On the weekends it's like a free-for-all.
My biggest problem is that I crave cookies all the time! I also have a boyfriend that enjoys having a drink every now and then, which is just more empty calories. So...starting this Wednesday I'm giving up alcohol and sweets for 2 weeks to reset myself. I need to get back in the habit of eating healthy and being good.
I'm still riding my bike pretty often, but it's getting to be that time of year when it's too hot to ride no matter what time of day. I haven't done Zumba in a while and I need to get back to doing that and Yoga. It's just so hard to force myself to find the time. Oh and I've started foam rolling myself to help out my muscle and relax, but I'm not doing that nearly enough either.
I also really need to get back to saving money and trying to pay off my bills. I want to be debt free by the end of this year (not including the car and the house). Next year I want to be able to use my tax refund to put new flooring in the house, build a cover over my back patio, and maybe some other small things.
Work has been so crazy busy that it's throwing off my plans for everything else. I'm exhausted by the time I get home and I really don't want to do anything except eat fatty foods and be a fatty laying around watching TV. I've got to get out of that habit!
Lately I have been aching to do something creative and I just can't seem to figure out what that is. I should really put that energy into painting some more at the house. I want to do some stenciling in the hallway and maybe in the breakfast area, paint the cabinets, and install roller shades.
There's just so much to do and never enough time, energy, or money.
